A Year and a Day – 2018

by Christina Reid directed by Andie Holborn in conjunction with Stirling Players’ Theatre.

A Year and a Day was inspired by a story Christina Reid heard about a graveyard where you mustn’t linger because you will hear someone behind you. If you look back you will be back in a year and a day in your own coffin.

Reid wrote the story with intention of scaring the audience.
It is a ghost story with music, singing, dancing and a terrible scream.

It is a terrifying tale of LOVE, CORRUPTION and LOSS.
This is a story of teenagers falling in love.
A travelling story-teller and a girl meet in a land devastated by war and famine.
The story-teller remembers a land of long ago – conjures up a beautiful garden.
There are two tribes worshipping different Gods.
Corruption.
Loss of the ancient garden.
And the never-ending story of two ghosts who still haunt the earth.
And the message – Don’t Look Back
